Care Home Kitchen Design & Refurbishment, Portsmouth, Hale Court

CaterPlan were instructed by Portsmouth City Council to design, supply and install a care home kitchen at Hale Court care home in Portsmouth. 

The remit was to provide a completely new kitchen to a commercial grade and satisfy environmental health requirements whilst providing a functional and practical working environment for the kitchen staff.

The refurbishment and our scope of works included Altro hygienic solutions, new kitchen ventilation system and catering equipment.

We worked closely with Mitie property services to ensure that the project ran smoothly and to the agreed program.  It was imperative that the kitchen was handed over on time, enabling the staff to resume service, providing meals for the residents.  The residents and staff were delighted with the new kitchen, no more meals on wheels!
